Natalie M. Uhrmacher, Esq. is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree. She also holds a B.A. in Modern Language (Spanish) and History (Concentration in European History) from St. John Fisher College.
As Senior Counsel with the Buffalo, New York office, Ms. Uhrmacher works with a variety of businesses and institutions to prepare and submit employment-based nonimmigrant petitions for employees in the H-1B, TN, and R-1 categories. In addition, Ms. Uhrmacher assists with permanent residency filings involving PERM Labor Certification, Religious workers, and National Interest Waivers. Ms. Uhrmacher has extensive experience with family-based immigration petitions via consular processing and adjustment of status as well as K-1 fiancé filings. Ms. Uhrmacher additionally prepares Removal of Conditions on permanent residency and Naturalization filings.
Prior to joining Malik & Popiel, P.C., Ms. Uhrmacher interned with the Legal Aid Society of Rochester’s Immigration Department; the New York State Defenders Association’s Criminal Defense Immigration Project; and served as a clerk with the Buffalo Immigration Court, as well as the Eighth Judicial District Erie County Court.
